Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Match Six Trio (Deep 400)

I won’t lie, I was iffy about these Fenty Beauty Match Stix after purchasing them the night that the beauty line launched. I felt that the product sheered out and disappeared when applied the way you would usually apply cream products. However, I found that the key to a beautiful application is to apply it on top of your powder, not before the powder. The product is matte enough that it works amazing on top of the powder, but also creamy enough to blend out effortlessly to a natural looking finish.
The match stix are also magnetic, so you can customize your own trio or however many with any colors you want.
Aloette Face Paint Lip & Cheek Tint (Blooming Berry)
This one is a shock to me because as an oily skinned girl, I never thought I would love a cream blush so much, but this was the only blush I used all month. It’s pigmented enough to show on dark skin, and because of that a little goes a long way–I used more of the product on my swatch to show off the color.
It’s so easy to blend out with a brush, sponge, or fingers. I prefer to use a stippling brush because it does the job so easily.
It leaves you with a beautiful dewy, healthy skin glow.
To top it all off, it smells amazing!
Prestige Brow Perfection Brow Building System
This brow gel is unlike any others that I have previously used. Not because it has fibers or keeps your brows in place, but because it actually fills in my brows without the use of any other products. One has a tinted gel with fibers, and the other has a clear gel. It’s perfect to use alone if you want a a natural full brow look, or you could use it in conjunction with a brow pencil or powder for a more full glam look.
The hairs stay in place all day and don’t feel hard.
Colourpop Lippie Stix Matte X (Daydream)
Colourpop is one of my favorite affordable Indie brands for eyeshadows and lip products. This Lippie Stix in the matte x formula does not disappoint. The color is a beautiful mauvy-brown that looks so beautiful on. It’s rich in color and long lasting on the lips. It’s a matte formula, however, it’s non-drying and feels very comfortable.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Cucumber & Green Tea
I’ve loved this facial spray for years, but rediscovered it this past month and have been using it to set my makeup. It’s not a setting spray, but it helps my makeup blend into my skin and leaves an overall natural finish. It’s also hydrating, so it’s perfect for those dry months or to refresh your face after a long day.

What I know For Sure– Oprah Winfrey

One of the most inspiring books I have read in a while by one of my biggest role models. This book is full of wisdom and advice based on Oprah’s own personal experience. It’s a quick read, but I took my time with it, only reading a few pages a day to be able to better absorb her words. I highly recommend this book because it really helps you see the bigger picture, and helps you to live your best, most positive life.

Broad City Season 4

If you’re not already watching Broad City, you seriously need to get on with it. It’s seriously such a crazy hilarious show! Never before have I seen a more realistic portrayal of NYC life. The new season delves deeper into the evolution of Abbi and Ilana’s friendship, and we finally get to see how these two met. I binged watched the whole season in one night and I don’t regret a thing.
It’s available to binge watch on Hulu.
Another great show that I binge watched the hell out of this past month, was Imposters. It had me hooked from the first episode. If you’re into comedy and mystery, then you’re in for a treat.
This one is available to binge watch on Netflix.
I wish you all a wonderful and productive new month.
Until next time!
