Shea Moisture is one of my favorite go-to hair care brands. I am always looking for a new go to foundation that is lightweight and not too heavy, but also makes me look as flawless as a VS model. So when I noticed that Shea Moisture had a liquid foundation, I had to give it a try. I will admit that I purchased this a couple months after it came out, but didn’t try it out until now.

I was so excited to try this foundation. I have oily/combination and sensitive skin, so it seemed like the perfect foundation. Natural finish foundations are usually no problem for me, however it was a complete disaster with this one. The foundation provided a nice medium coverage, but was definitely not natural finish. In fact, it was oily as a mofo!! Honestly, it literally felt like I applied coconut oil or some other type of oil all over my face.
The foundation never set at all, no matter how much time passed or how much powder I set it with. This, in turn, made my concealer and everything that I put on top of the foundation crease. It was slippery, moved and transferred so easily because of the fact that…IT NEVER SETS. It was a total nightmare, and not to mention the fact that my face looked like an oil field!
As I’m sure you can all guess, I would definitely never recommend this to anyone, no matter what skin type they are. It was a complete and utter fail.
